check out those baby guns!

The other day Elena and I were visiting our friends at a casa hogar (boy's home) when one of our little friends (pictured above) squeezed Elena's biceps. With emphatic expression he said, "¡oye, tiene fureza! Loosely translated he said, "holy smokes, she's got guns!". Then he promptly showed me what kind of muscle was hidden under his short sleeve shirt. I guess to a kindergardener any kind of volume is muscle.

This weekend Melissa and I got to fly to portland for our youngest sister, Erika's baby shower. Her little darling--Addison Grace--is due in March. Here are a few pics from the shower and on Mike and Erika's farm.
