Family Kayaking Trip

We've had the opportunity to spend some time in the NW this month. Our journey started in Washington and moved south to Oregon. While in Seattle we were able to get in a little kayaking with our good friend (and NOLS kayaking instructor) John Guppy. He provided us with the gear and took us out on Lake Washington. What a day! Little Pink Monster

Our sweet little girl is 10 months old now. She's not quite walking but loves to cruise around the room holding on to furniture or anything she thinks is substantial. She likes to look at books and will often chat while looking at the pictures. She really likes animals and especially dogs; she learned to say the word "dog" while we were visiting my sister in Oregon last month. She spends her free time bouncing in her crib teething on the railings.
